Qualifications

Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a candidate to provide centralized Credentialing & Privileging Support Services to the Army National Guard (ARNG) located in Alexandria, VA.


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Shall provide Credentialing and Privileging Support Services.
  • Shall use a standard Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) credentialing application and monitoring data set which encompasses a broad scope of information needed to credential Providers, including credentialing information required by state mandated application forms and certain other common credentialing application forms that are supported by the Service (“Standard Application Data Set”), as the basis for an online credentialing application data form incorporating the Standard Application Data Set (the “Credentialing Application”). Note that at the time of award the ARNG Chief Surgeon’s Office will have a subscription with the Council for Advancement of Quality Healthcare (CAQH) for access to that organization’s Internet database as the credentialing and privileging service, to which the Contractor must be able to obtain access and transfer all the information from that site with complete accuracy and fidelity.
  • Shall support the CSG in transitioning ARNG providers with initial entry credentialing, maintenance of credentialing and privileging, and Centralized Credentials Privileging Board reviews of completed credentials and privileging files.
  • Shall provide support to the ARNG-CSG in the development of the accessions credentialing process and shall be the primary point of contact for all ARNG providers for centralized credentialing and privileging.
  • Shall review the licensure, training and education of skilled care providers (e.g. Physicians, Dentists, Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) and assure their clinical competency and that they maintain regulatory compliance in their scope of practice in accordance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The credentialing and privileging process within the military is dictated by Army Regulation (AR) 40-68.
  • Shall maintain providers credentialing files utilizing electronic data based information for the most updated credentialing and privileging information.
  • Shall notify the provider to complete the requisite DA forms and / or ePrivileging forms in CCQAS and support the provider in completing forms.
  • Shall Collect and finalize any outstanding credentials elements (e.g. refreshing items that are set to expire during the duty timeline).
  • Shall assemble documentation into a single packet of information for review and provide completed credentials file packets to the Credentials Certification Board and Privileging Boards for the board’s certification processes and respond to any additional information requests from the privileging body in support of the privileging process.
  • Shall collect copies of the delineated privileges once granted, and incorporate those privileges into the provider's credentials file for future reference.
  • Shall collect copies of performance evaluations upon completion of duty, and incorporate those evaluations into the provider's credentials file for future reference.
  • Shall provide program management and project oversight to ensure it performs to the specifications of the contract and to ensure that tasks are performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the requirements of this PWS.
  • Shall facilitate the Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Boards on a quarterly basis and support the CCPB meetings with all equipment and required contractor manpower necessary to effectively and efficiently run the board.
  • Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross Healthcare Provider or Military Training Network (MTN)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs as well as proficiency in the use of a computer.
