Qualifications

FSR (Federal Staffing Resources) is seeking a LVN / LPN -  Outpatient to provide services at Dyess Air Force Base located near Abilene, Texas. 

 

The day-to-day job includes, but is not limited to-

-Performing patient care and nursing administrative duties for outpatients

-Organize the medical environment

-Perform support activities for outpatient care

-Monitor and record patients physiological measurements

-Assist with patient adminissions and discharges

-Provide customer service including preventative healthcare and orientation of clinic

-Prepare patients for testing and procedures and perform appropriate portions of treatment

-Perform central sterile supply duties

-Record keeping

-Communication of patient problems to nursign team

-Recognizes and respond to emergencies

-Assemble, operate, clean and store equipment

-Establish and maintain a appropriate, professional relationship with co-workers, peers and team members to deliver the highest level of patient care

 

Qualifications:

-Graduated from an accredited national, state, or military equivalent school for Vocational Nursing

-Current, active, valid unrestricted license to practice as a LVN / LPN without any restrictions

-Experience in performing care and treatment of patients. 

-Practiced LVN / LPN hands-on patient care in an outpatient clinical setting for one year within the last 2 years.
